About me
Hello & welcome to my website!
My name is Vania Dobreva – Manaweel.
I am a biofeedback and neurofeedback provider with master's degrees in both special education and speech therapy and extensive experience in the field of special education. In addition, I am a yoga teacher who is also certified in kids' yoga and Yoga for the Special Child, often known as "The Sonia Summar Method".
Why did I choose to develop in this field?
I first heard of and became interested in Biofeedback methods when I was working in Dubai at a center for children with a range of developmental differences. During that time, one of our volunteers shared a story about her autistic brother’s experience with Neurofeedback.
The boy was experiencing regular meltdowns, and the family was struggling as a result of his challenging behaviour. Despite countless therapy sessions and behaviour modification approaches, nothing seemed to work until he was introduced to neurofeedback. Now, the same boy is a happy and responsible young man who works for himself and enjoys spending time with his family and friends. This amazing story inspired me me to learn more about the methods of biofeedback, and I soon found myself on an exciting journey of learning and training in the field, eventually beginning to utilise Neurofeedback to train my own brain. When I started to see great results, I knew I wanted to become a brain trainer myself.
In my work with children, I use a variety of approaches and strategies, which I adapt to the client's specific needs. I have been working with children on the autistic spectrum as well as those with so-called virtual autism, ADHD, dyslexia, learning challenges, developmental delays, general anxiety and other conditions.
